KAWS got plenty of hype last week after teasing a new sculpture paying homage to the Fun Fur demigod of biscuits, Cookie Monster. Contrary to some wishful thinking, this is a straight-up sculpture, standing 8 meters tall, and will not be a mass produced art toy. However, a 20-inch plush version will be available (though limited to 1,000 editions), as will a t-shirt, blanket, umbrella, and tote. As this is a collaboration between the Brooklyn artist and the Hong Kong design agency AllRightsReserved, it may be exclusive to Hong Kong.
